Hey party freaks. I want to tell you guys about my new podcast “The C-Word,” that launches today! It's a chat show about women who society has called crazy, from the perspective of a woman who society really loves to call crazy 🙋🏻. Co-hosted with my dearest love and historian of bad behavior, Alissa Bennett, we look at the lives and reputations of some of history's most notorious tabloid staples. These are women we called "crazy", women whose public downfalls we consumed from our armchairs and computer keyboards with bowls of popcorn at the ready. On the show, we're looking to parse the discourse around these women, debunk the myths and dissect cultural stereotypes…while coming from a place of compassion and empathy. Because some of the things these women have done aren't so different from things we've all done--which may be why they frighten us and fascinate us.
