Sara, I’ve seen you go through the highs and lows of being a mother, trying to get him to latch when his tiny mouth was too small and we were worried he’d never get it, to finally seeing him become a pro at it who seemingly never wants to get off it:) The nights with little or no sleep, to all three of us having dreamy naps together. Laughing hysterically as baby Taj has learned to feed himself whole food with his two hands which he somehow manages to get on the back of his head. You’ve managed to research on line so many blogs of information about every item we could possibly need to troubleshooting every challenge that arises as a parent and now you’re writing your own and adding to the great lexicon of Motherly Wisdom. I’ve seen you when you thought you couldn’t do it, but did and I’ve seen you already go way beyond the strength I possess to show up for Taj over and over, through every bath, rash, upset tummy, burp, fart, poop, cry, smile and laugh - you seem to know what they all mean and when you tell me I always think “wow, that makes sense to me!” It’s been a blessing to see how your mother has been there to share her love and experience with Taj and you and how gracefully she’s backed off when you chose to do things differently than her. The two of you are amazing and I couldn’t be more fortunate to have both of you when @behjatagah travels to come spend time with us. I always knew you’d be a great mom who could endure any challenge but watching you in action each day struggling with them and solving them with love in your heart has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
