But for the first time I’m feeling the loss of leaving friends, community, and the South. There was a season in my life that I thought I’d forever roam, forever be single, and never running out of new roads to find and spots to camp. But I truly adore hanging out in Nashville with my dear friend MPJ’s three girls. Being with them and watching them run around my yard for sure has awoken that dad gene in me.⁣ ⁣ Warmth and feelings and connection with self has never come easy for me. My nature is hard work, projects, and getting things done. To slow down and sort out how I’m feeling takes an immense amount of energy.
