I’ll tell you about what goes into what I call ‘Lou Proofing’ the house. Lou loves anything paper and plastic and will go out of his way to eat it. (Don’t worry, he’s not deficient in anything, he’s had tons of tests for other things that would have shown and I’ve asked) Every single thing paper, plastic, or that comes in a package or has tape has to be put in containers. See him above 👆🏻sitting on it proving he is willing to wait it out if that’s what it takes 😹. Mail has to go into a bag because yup, he’ll eat it. Tissues -> kept in tissue boxes but then flipped upside down because he’s learned to pull them out. Toilet paper is stored in the cabinet or he’ll spin it out and eat it. All garbage pails need step on lids or he flips it like a dog 💪🏻. All fridge magnets must be higher than 3 feet off the bottom or he licks them and if they have pics in them he’ll pull them out and eat them too 🤷‍♀️ - Whew right?! He’s worth all of it though and actually is a really good boy even with his quirks. I just think it’s his way of keeping the house very orderly, so you have to just laugh.
