What a guy! Marcel Remy climbed a solid VI (UIAA) at the age of 96. After his first pitch of "La Guêpes" (5c), he failed the second, overhanging slightly and rated 6a. But he wants to come back – first practicing just a little more at the climbing gym, as he said himself.
Marcel is nearly 100 years old, but his eyes are still bright, enthusiastic and full of life. He is an incredible inspiration for all of us here at Mammut and underlines our slogan: Do what you can't. Be what you can.
