Us ladies went to speak to younger artists, (mostly young women in the room) at LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts to discuss the business and then coach them on some of their awesome work. 2 things I realized today- 1 -we MUST share what we have learned with the generation coming up, especially young women. They need to know the truth about the world ahead of them and #EMPOWER them. It’s imperative to talk to each other, hear each other and SEE each other in all areas. 2- ART is VITAL. I walked in thinking about #alabama and the insanity that is going on in our country and left feeling inspired. ART changes ugly to beauty and this is soooo needed right now. Create, dance, sing, write, change the ugliness with art and expression!!
