Play with papier-mâché pieces and perch on questionable furniture inside the crude and wonderful world of Austrian artist #FranzWest (1947–2012). Best known for his unconventional sculpture and objects that you can sit on and pick up, Franz West's work was a turning point in the relationship between art and its audience.
West has been a vast influence on younger artists — his friend and collaborator Sarah Lucas has contributed to the exhibition’s design.
