Today I’m thinking of and sending love and strength to the brave and resilient LGBTI refugees I met on my trip to Lebanon with @refugees in 2016. This picture was taken as I was talking to a young Syrian refugee who lost his family and his partner in the conflict. In his journey to seek safety, he experienced unspeakable violence and harassment and discrimination, simply for being who he is.
