If you deal with chronic illnesses, you are not alone! I’ve had fibromyalgia since I was 8. I almost don’t remember what it’s like to go to bed without pain and wake up without it. It’s become a huge part of my life & my “new normal.” People who run into me on a day to day or see me online probably will never guess this because I’m walking around and going about my day. But everyday I’m aching, different areas depending on the day. Sometimes it’s so bad I don’t even know what to do with myself. I’m sharing this because I think it’s important to share. Lately I’ve been receiving messages from girls who also struggle with chronic illnesses and it reminded me how important it is for me to use my platform to remind others they’re not alone! Obviously I ain’t tryna see y’all in pain (lol), but it really brings me comfort knowing I’m not alone and thought this post will help anyone suffering feel the same. I understand the frustration of everyone asking/telling you- “have you tried this medication, have you tried this treatment, what if you changed your diet, etc.” I’ve been asked those questions my entire life & I’ve seen different doctors, taken different meds, and different treatments with little to no improvements. Some days it feels hopeless. Point of this long winded post is- I feel you girl (& boy, I didn’t forget about you!)...some days you feel hopeless, drained, misunderstood...but it’s still a great life! Tomorrow is a new day and I’m hopeful we all find comfort someday. But for now, remember you’re not alone!」5月18日 13時53分
