Started recording the next season of #DeadlySirius this week. Diane Morgan, Mark Watson, Stephen Knight, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Daniel Sloss and Ben Bailey Smith so far. They're actually getting quite good now. In an awful, unprofessional sort of way, obviously.

christopherj59 @rickyj455 I said he’s a good writer. Just not a good stand up. Saw him live at MSG (free tickets). The jokes were very basic and using “shock value” for sake of shock value which is a sign of a bad stand up. He’s got a lot of money which I may be jealous of. But Atleast I’m not gonna blow him just cuz he’s Ricky gervais. Give me one of his best stand up bits? “Piracy doesn’t kill music, boy bands do.” Wow that’s really well written. Boy bands make bad music. That is a fresh take.

jackfdoran @christopherj59 i think you're an idiot. You just said he's a good comedy writer but cant write a good joke...makes no sense. Also if you dont think he can write a clever well constructed joke even the 'dead naming' jenner routine would prove that wrong. Anyway...enjoy your incorrrect opinions that no one needed to hear but you thought would be edgy and cool. You're so cool?

dominic_haley @christopherj59 I have to agree, I’m a HUUUGE Gervais fan but never revisit his stand up, the off the cuff stuff on XFM and the podcasts are the funniest things I’ve ever heard. I listen to hundreds of hours of the stuff on loop. His writing is genius too, just not a fan of the stand up material

rickyj455 @christopherj59 not quite. I didn't say it makes him better than anyone else. I said it makes him good. It's subjective isn't it. Some people will prefer other comedians. But you can't deny NSync were good and made music that a lot of people liked. So you Chris, can suck my balls.
