Jazz musician and LIFE legend Fats Waller was born 115 years ago today, May 21, 1904 in New York, New York. He died in 1943 at the young age of 39 from pneumonia. Over 4000 people attended his funeral at the Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem. Many of his songs are still popular and well known today such as "Honeysuckle Rose" and "Ain't Misbehavin."
