Today in 1979, theatergoers nationwide gasped when the seven person crew of USCSS Nostromo discovered an egg much like this one. You probably know the story of "Alien" . . . 🚀+🆘 ➡️ 🥚+👨🚀=👾 ➡️ 💀💀💀🤖💀💀💥 ➡️ 👾+🌬=🌌 ➡️ 👩🚀🐱💤 This particular prop egg was used in the 1986 sequel to "Alien"—"Aliens." Created by designers H. R. Giger and Michael Seymour, the alien or “Xenomorph” egg became an iconic image for the film franchise, appearing in the poster art for various editions of the film. The egg is not currently on display.
