During my reader tour to the country of Georgia (more info in the bio), we were treated to many lunches at some of my favorite people's homes. At no point, did any one of these lunches end without a sip or shot of cha cha, which Georgians believer to be a cure-all.⁣ ⁣ From rubbing on your chest if you have a cold, to your gums if you have a toothache, to curing (or causing) a stomachache, cha cha is ubiquitous to daily life in this part of the world.⁣ ⁣ But also, there is supposedly a specific way to drink it that involves breathing a certain way and other things I couldn't master.
