I remember years back when my brother was living on the #EastCoast and we visited @arlingtonnatl. We were walking and talking and then had stopped for a minute. I looked back and my brother was very emotional, knelt down. It was then that I realized I would never fully understand this pain and this moment to him. Friendships, moments shared within the military shape you and become your family. A bond is created to care for and protect one another. It was an incredible moment for me to experience with my brother as I felt I got a real glimpse into the true nature of a world he had been a part of his whole life and so completely opposite from what I do. I admire his strength, his courage, and his responsibility to his fellow brother/sister and fallen hero. Today is a day to remember.
