A necessity to live a life as others would have them live rather than as they themselves have envisioned. .. 🌏🌏🌏 It can be a daunting and seemingly insurmountable task to turn off the noise of the world and take the risk that you feel is true. .. 🌏🌏🌏 You will have naysayers and haters and doubters, all of whom have probably tried and failed at the very task you’ve taken on, or perhaps never even attempted it themselves at all and Coach from the bleachers. .. 🌏🌏🌏 They become like flies biting at your ankles and with a simple wave of the hand they scatter. .. 🌏🌏🌏 The irony in this is that we are all walking the same road, taking the same path, flies included. .. 🌏🌏🌏 So do not look at those who try and stop you as “less than”. See instead their grief at not achieving, their pain at not succeeding and their hidden self-abnegation as the cause for their actions. .. 🌏🌏🌏 As John Donne so aptly wrote: “Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.” 🌏🌏🌏 Press on with hope and intent and clear actions toward your goals. You do not need to seek the approval of those who would doubt. You are the captain of your ship.
