In 1965, Playboy launched their first international Club-Hotel in a lush Caribbean rain forest of Jamaica. During the opening weekend, guests included Jamaican prime minister Alexander Bustamante and official representatives of Queen Elizabeth II. Due to an increasingly unstable political situation in the mid-70s, the Hotel closed in 1977 #playboyheritage
