I love wearing shorts so much that it’s hard to believe growing up I despised them. I hated showing from about ages 9 to 16—they were so gawky. (My role in the freshman year play was a giraffe 🤦🏼♀️😒) I don’t know when my perspective changed...maybe my legs felt suffocated and wanted to break free. Or maybe I stopped caring. Maybe it’s a little bit of both. Don’t you sometimes want to give your adolescent self a hard shake and say, “You look great! Who cares!
