Polish photographer Joanna Piotrowska uses her surroundings to show the anxiety and psychological tension of the domestic space — rather as a document of a performance than a documentary image. Her black and white photographs and 16mm films elevate the sometimes sinister underside of the domestic sphere and that oddly familiar strangeness that comes with family life.
