He says his Scoutmaster targeted him around the age of seven, just as his parents had separated and he was at his most vulnerable. “He did stuff below the torso area, if you get my drift,” he says. The first person he told, years later, was his grandmother. Since the abuse had happened long ago, it didn’t seem like there was much they could do. They both “sort of dropped it" until a few months ago, when the grandmother spotted an ad urging victims to come forward.
