Last year my mom @ummalim was diagnosed with breast cancer and after a long year of treatments & medication we recently found out that she is officially cancer free! It was an emotional and challenging year to say the least but we came out of it stronger, hopeful, and more grateful than ever before. My #1 tip is to talk openly about it... the amount of people that reached out and shared their stories was so encouraging and I didn’t feel alone during this process.
