Today is Cancer Survivors day. Cheers to all survivors and I pray for those still battling this awful disease. On Jan 3rd 2014 I rang the bell at MD Anderson for finishing my chemo and radiation treatments. I have been blessed that I’m still in remission. I have much compassion for those fighting their battle and for us survivors, we continue to get routine checkups, bloodwork, CT scans, mammograms, colonoscopies and the list goes on. I was honored to serve as Chair and then Co Chair for the National Race to End Women’s Cancer these last 5 years. I have met hundreds of not thousands of cancer survivors and fighters through the years! Keep fighting on ladies and gentlemen! Much thanks to the doctors and caregivers that Dedicate their lives to saving lives. #cancersurvivorsday @foundationforwomenscancer

MD Anderson is the best! Congrats on ringing that bell! Praise God for a continued and complete healing. Pray for my friends only little girl, Ava. She’s only 5 and battling a tumor I her abdomen. It is shrinking though after two rounds??

Just started my journey in April sometimes I feel like just stopping because it’s so hard physically & emotionally reading some of your positive words helps me keep it up I hope to help someone one day with my experience ❤️
