The Queen, President Trump and the First Lady viewed a display of items from the Royal Collection illustrating the enduring relationship between the US and the UK.

The items included photographs and documents from King George VI and Queen Elizabeth’s visit to the US in 1939, where they were entertained by President Roosevelt in Washington and New York for three days.
The display also explored King George VI’s relationship with Winston Churchill and Dwight Eisenhower during the Second World War, particularly in the days leading up to and following the D-Day landings.
