I miss my sister more than words can express. I miss her hugs. I miss her laugh. I miss her smile. I miss her humor. More than anything, I’ll miss how much she cared for those around her, always worrying about everyone else’s well being, most times even more than her own. Who will I call at random moments throughout the day? Who can I do absolutely nothing with and love every second? The pain will soften and tears will slow inshallah (God willing). My faith teaches me that death is a part of life and verily from God we come and to God we return. I never imagined that my sister’s time would come before my own. Please make dua for my sister, who was fortunate to pass during the month of Ramadan. I pray that Allah forgives her for her sins. I pray that He grants her the highest level of Jannah. I pray that He makes her grave spacious and full of light. I pray He allows her daughter to be among the righteous and always keep her close to Him.
