Remember last week, when we did a post about how the @amcny The Animal Medical Center N.Y. was advertising declawing on their website and a few days later they took it off? Well we thought that that meant that they stopped declawing but according to a person at the Animal Medical Center’s booth at Cat Camp N.Y., they only took it off because we were shining light on it and they still declaw cats at AMC. 😾 Yep. It’s really sad that so many people in the American veterinary profession just don’t want to do the right thing and completely stop doing this inhumane and mutilating procedure. But the good news is today is the historic vote in New York for the anti-declawing Cat Protection Bill, and we are optimistic that legislators will do the right thing and end this barbaric amputation procedure in their state!!!! 🐾😺😺😺 #pawsneedclaws #voiceforthevoiceless」6月5日 0時31分
