BREAKING NEWS: Have you heard that plastic is edible? No. Because it’s not. And I have Bad news for you today: we DO eat it anyway. You have probably heard about floating garbage islands in the oceans. But the most obvious problem is not necessarily the biggest. Plastic debris thrown into oceans are mechanically broken into smaller and smaller particles, whiсh are consumed by filter feeders, fish, which are in turn consumed by us, humans. You can say it's not a problem, that you will simply stop eating marine food and be safe. But The Thing is, it was recently proven that around 85% of tap water samples from around the world also contain those micro- and nano plastic particles and humans consume thousands of them daily. Governments are slow to act, but YOU can be faster and more efficient all day everyday. SO what can you do personally to protect ourselves and our children? Reducing your plastic consumption, saying NO to plastic bags, straws, packaging in supermarkets,restaurants, cafes and etc! RECYCLE ♻️, choose environmentally friendly suppliers (just think about a candy wrapped in endless layers of plastic). Each and everyone of you can start a movement today.
