I cannot express how excited I am to share this week’s edition of #PHITTalks because it’s rightfully dedicated to the joys in my world - my kids ♥️ - I’ve received so many inquiries from moms about healthy snack options for kids, and today I’ve decided to raid my pantry and walk you through what MY kids love to eat - a little crunch, a little sweet, a lot of healthy. riverdogfarm Also remind mom’s to seek our their local farmer. Farm shares or CSA (community supported agricultural) veggie & fruit boxes. A great way to support small local organic farmers, as well as a great way to eat healthy sustainable seasonal veggies & fruit!

karengmacken My son did a veggie herb garden he is vegan and a PT grew some nice mint for infused waters with strawberry I'm a naturopath since 1983 brought my 3 up on healthy foods vegetarian I believe in healthy minds and healthy souls as well as healthy bodies

cheeseylafondue I don't know that I can agree that fingers are an appropriate after school snack. Sure they're loaded with protein but I'm a little concerned about the sourcing. . .?

baylgrl My daughter is a type 1 diabetic. She was diagnosed last summer. Shes 12yrs old. Do you have any snack ideas that would be helpful? She likes to sneak junk food??
