The calm before the electrifying storm⚡️🔥 Ever get a feeling that you’re supposed to ignite your soul for a greater purpose? For months I’ve been working on amazing projects soon to be released. But I’m dreaming of an over-arching ‘thing’ that I can always work towards.
An environmental movement that you and others can be apart of, I really want to make a positive impact in the world. It’s probably the simplest thing, in the area of our consumption and industrial habits. This all affects our well-being and the environment.
E.g: I’ve seen so much plastic waste around the world with my own eyes and but haven’t seen or heard enough updates or solutions on how we can save the world. Tell me solutions, products or movements that you already believe are doing wonders for the world. I want to learn, help and partner with those type of people.
Right now I’m in the research stage of saving the world and want to pick a big challenge. SO TELL ME YOUR IDEAS AND EXPERIENCES OF THE SOLUTIONS OF HELPING EARTH.

pluckmichael One of the issues (among the never ending list) is transportation. There has to be a better way to adapt than asking the world to change over to electric cars?! If everyone in the world changed to an electric car, we would have to keep up with the energy consumption (this is next to impossible with green renewable energy). So what happens then? Do they start to produce more nuclear? There is a professor in Colorado who is creating fuel (jet, deisel, and petrol) by sucking carbons out of the atmosphere and binding it with hydrogen (using hydro power) to create a carbon neutral fuel that burns clean and is higher performing! This means that we don’t have to ask everyone to change their transport method, especially for people who need power diesel vehicles for farming etc. the fuel pus the same amount of carbon back into the atmosphere that it takes out, therefore by producing in excess the system becomes carbon negative and there’s no waste cars going to scrapyards! This would be a good substitute for fuel as it is renewable, there will always be hydrogen and carbon in the atmosphere to use and it can help with the costly task of sucking carbons out of the atmosphere when there is currently no buyers for the material. #justathought

kammnick I've been thinking a lot about conservation and the technology needed to solve big problems. Except for a few small startups it seems like most of the activity is happening in academic research. The problem is that this realm is inaccessible to professional engineers and working technologists. As a result we don't have access to what big problems organizations are trying to solve and the technology that needs to be developed in order to solve it. My idea to remedy this is to create a website that connects organizations and professionals/businesses around the big problems and summarizes what's currently being done and highlights tech gaps. Growing from that it could host design competitions and connect design professionals with organizations and administer partnerships between.

meemquene I’ve been trying to plant more to grow my own food, help clean the air around me, and recycle and reuse when I can, but its kind of tough and sometimes feels like I’m not making a difference. But I do feel like I’m making a difference when I volunteer at my local animal shelter and its nice to feel like i’m helping. I think it just shows that helping others really can be the key to your own peace and happiness.

Many of the 20-year-olds, who are also referred to as crystal children, are studying science and technology, looking for new ways to change the trajectory of earth by developing and finding new inventions and tools to heal the planet.

dorothyjen Place where i live- Penang in Malaysia, local government has officially banned retail stores using plastic bags. every shopper just gotta take their own recycle bags to shop. Howevr use of plastic water bottles still is rampant and hard to curb. I wish whatever you do, your impact will be strong.

deannehawkey Jw.org gets 1.7 million hits a day people wondering what’s wrong with the earth and looking for solutions , promises of a world free from sickness and death were only good people will be allowed to reside is promised 🙏no more cruelty to animals will be one of my favourite promises 🥰
