@mcfetridge Thank you. Obviously I enjoy your art - quite a bit actually, but I can see several interpretations in most of the pieces that you post. I think my emotion of "how did you get that" was driven off of comments in your earlier postings where I felt there was no way to be sure of what you meant. Thanks for shaking my brain today.

My phone only alters half of my world? I never really see anyone offering up their interpretation on these. Is it a phone or a glass of water like @saintjaron mentioned? If it is a phone, why the line through the middle? If it is a glass of water, why doesn't it look like a glass of water instead of a galaxy s9??

@estone61 embrace the ambiguity. That is why I don’t usually caption. Most of these drawings are meant to explore areas that are complicated by words. This drawing relates to a painting I did many years ago... and the saying “half empty half full”

Its a phone with that app that makes it look like you drink a beer if you tilt the phone like 80 degrees.

The glass is half empty, this person is just upside down holding the glass.
