Last night we were honored to host a tea party in celebration of our collaboration with @teaforteofficial, which spotlights design as much as it does flavor, with a focus on select botanical illustrations from our #nybglibrary collection. Pierre-Joseph Redouté, an official artist in the courts of both Marie Antoinette and Josephine Bonaparte, was one of history’s most lauded botanical illustrators, and you’ll find his artwork beautifully represented in this tea collection that benefits NYBG’s work in plant research and conservation.
