I had just literally surfed my brains out and clinched the National Chamionship Title... as you can see by the dumbfounded/ awestruck/ “is this REAL life” look in my eyes😂 . . This was by far the most meaningful win in my #adaptivesurfing career as I was able to nudge out the indomitable Jeff Munson (to my right) and beat the rest of the boys as the ONLY FEMALE in the division for the #win!!!! . . I also love this picture because @spikekane who is one of my greatest friends and a helluva surfer is watching me receive the 1st place trophy... awww😭😭😭 . . Today all the usual suspects of #USAadaptivesurfing are going head to head for this title again and while a little part of me is bummed I’m not there, I’m beyond stoked to be growing this lil surf buddy in my belly! . .
