battleshipgarcy @fabveronika when I travel internationally my goal is to use English as a last resort, I always try to use the home country's language, if I can't do well that way, I go to French or another language I've studied (in Germany I learned I speak German with a French accent ?). Language learning is my passion ❤ Isn't Italian somewhat understood in North Croatia?

marijaperos Is this in Zablace? My mom is from there, and while visiting last year my uncle mentioned the fortress being repaired. Croatia is my second home ❤️ we’re beyond blessed to have such a beautiful country!

fabveronika @battleshipgarcy ❤️? I had the basics down but everyone spoke German and/or English and were happy to speak it, unlike what I've experienced in some other foreign places (mostly France lol)
