This is my love letter to the @fairmontempress. I haven’t been back to Canada in a year and I wanted to go home and explore somewhere new... growing up I had heard of this legendary hotel in Victoria. Built in 1908, sitting right in the harbour with the most beautiful views in the city. Then I found out the hotel has their first female GM named Indu Brar and I knew I had to go because you know I hold it down for those women run businesses. Thank you everyone at the hotel who took such good care of us and for the amazing indigo gin and tonics, the lovely hotel doggy who welcomed us everyday and the most stunning room.
