When I first started this project it was solely intended to be a creative endeavor and was not expected to survive for this many years. I just wanted to create beautiful photographs of ballerinas and did not look to turn it into a business. Unfortunately through many years of the project we could not find a balance between keeping our creative initiative and also a sustainable financial pathway moving forward. It was not easy to make this decision but we felt it was better to give the project an ending rather than turn it into something that lost sight of why we are doing this in the first place. This will result in the Ballerina Project not creating new work past the middle of July. We will continue to post the remaining photographs that we have on hand until we have no more to share. Thank you to all that have collaborated and followed the Ballerina Project for these many years. With the conclusion of the Ballerina Project we will also be concluding the sale of all our limited edition prints.
