Everyone, including BB, reached a unanimous decision as family that we won't be able to let Phoebe go. 🙊 When I brought Phoebe home, this wasn't our original plan and I really wanted to teach our two-legged kids the purpose of fostering. And I wasn't sure if I was ready to have another black and white BC in my life yet. When I was looking for a new dog (a little dog), one of my goals was to find a dog that made BB happy. She's sensitive and emotionally challenging. I wanted to make sure adding a new dog wouldn't stress her. I was on petfinder everyday, and applied for about 10 dogs. I was rejected by a few rescue groups and many never got back to me. It was puzzling at that time. I was planning a road trip to meet another dog the next day when a tiny pic of this goofy black and white popped up on a FB group. She and her siblings were roaming an area near a busy road and one of them had already been hit by a car. I commented “that black and white is killing me 😫” I cancelled the road trip to meet a Pom, and the goofy puppy was with me a few days later. And for whatever incredible reason, BB and the pup hit it off. Watching those two play reminds me of the happy days with Cooper and Jazzy. ❤️ I realized Phoebe was making everyone in this family happy, including me. I think she was meant to be with us...maybe a gift from Jazzy. I know I would regret it so much if I let her go.
