dnguess57 Stop with the sweetness. You just brought tears to a 62 year old man’s eyes with this wonderful post. Seriously it’s such a blessing to have two dads in your life that you love so much. I also have two dads, my biological dad and my stepdad. I love my stepdad so much. He’s 90 years old and still going strong. He played major league baseball back in the ‘50s with the Washington Senators. Unfortunately my biological dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease last year. I saw him a few days ago and gave him a Father’s Day card and treated him to lunch at his favorite restaurant, Cracker Barrel. I called him today to wish him a Happy Father’s Day. I told my dad that I enjoyed our time together at Cracker Barrel but he didn’t remember us being there. Now I’m tearing up again because I am going to have to place him in a nursing home soon. I’m a CNA at a nursing home and have to deal with residents that have dementia and Alzheimer’s on a daily basis. I’m so sad knowing that my dad will be like them soon. You didn’t need to hear about my issues but I feel that you are a very wonderful and compassionate woman. I and all your fans miss Sasha so much. She was amazing just as you are. Thank you for being who you are.
