We found a toy shop and the first area the little guy ran to was where the books were. It melts my heart. And he definitely inherited my habit of reading a few books at a time. Anyone else do this too? Currently he has one he likes to read in car rides and cafes, one for long bouts of evening reading, and one where he reads a chapter a day. Now there’s a growing stack of finished books and I love seeing the accomplishment in his spirit with each one that gets added to the pile. There’s something about sharing this space where we have our noses deep in books that warms my soul. And there’s something about the tactile turning of pages that I love. I have nothing against gadgets and ebooks, but I relish the smell and feeling of an actual book in hand. It’s one of my favorite things.

ebrukefeli_lettering I always read 2 or 3 books at a time. When I am going vacations all of them come with me so that I can choose according to my mood ? I really want to read Falter by Bill Mckibbeb and The Uninhabitable World by David Wallace Wells. They are new but essential to understand and act on climate crisis ?

shellseeker93 Like you, I love the tactile feel of holding a book in my hands. Love my e-readers for convenience but l much prefer a real book. I just finished Becoming, Michelle Obama’s memoir. I’m also reading Washington by Ron Chernow, having loved his Hamilton so much.
