Sponsored by @sonysingapore | Amazing how Sony’s Real-time tracking Eye Autofocus is able to lock on and follow the eye of this Halloween-masked monk. The monk portrays the enemies of Tibet during the annual reenactment of the epic story of Ling Gesar, the Father of Tibet, at Shechen Monastery, Kham, Sichuan province.

@kiranyoda yes, i agree about keeping ISO low and a relatively slow shutter speed. But, if one would want to get maximum detail, wouldn’t the aperture be set at around f8 - f10? I highly doubt that f16 is this lens’ sweet spot.
kiranyoda
@_nzry high iso can give you low quality imaging.so its better to keep such a high iso and the low shutter speed can give u a sense of motion around. esp with the frizzy hair
kiranyoda
@_nzry yes this shot must be taken without preps. you know one of those shots we just are fortunate to catch. So aperture could have been in default.

Incredible control of the camera! Perfect balance of the eye in focus and the poetic motion of the action surrounding. Masterful!!!

@yamashitaphoto why shoot this at f16? Quick way to eat light so you could lower shutter speed?

Reminds me of an anime scene When they focus on something and have that classic fade mash up
