Given their amazing strength, it’s incredibly important to respect bears and their habitat. NEVER feed bears. Don’t leave garbage outside your house or campsite. A fed bear is a dead bear. When photographing or viewing bears in the wild, it’s very important to watch their behavior. Bears often communicate with subtle movements in their posture, ears, paws, mouth/face, or with vocalizations.
