It has been a tough trip for colette. We didn’t think a 3 hour difference would make a big difference but it definitely has. She is usually ALWAYS soooooo happy (and yes she is as happy as she seems on my IG) but on this trip she has been super fussy, overly tired, jetlagged , teething, and super attached to me. Honestly we spent most of our time at the house because she was soooo fussy... luckily our house was right on the beach so everyone was still able to enjoy the beach but man.. totally forgot how difficult it is to travel with a baby... yet alone 2 kids! t’s safe to say we will be resuming our family trips in 2022 😂😂😂 any parents feel me on this? #reallifeparenting #motherhood

I appreciate your honesty in this caption! Yes been there & I laughed at the resume traveling in 2022 cuz I’ve said that too ? something that helped me with time difference was I kept my phone on my time back home so I could somewhat try to stick to that time instead of the current time zone we were in. Good luck!!

I think they start to recognise their surroundings and it’s all new to them. So when they don’t have you around they get really upset and attached. My son was like his too when we travelled when he was little.

Yes, sometimes they get sick or just tired and its not easy. Don’t feel guilty it happens. Hopefully in the future you will have many more trips to make better memories

I feel you, 4 hour train ride with a teething baby (which was behaving totally fine at home) killed my confidence as a parent and gave me some grey hairs...

Why don't you respect her privacy ? She never asked to be in front of a camera when she is crying getting or getting a fresh diaper.
