Today is #WorldRefugeeDay and I’m thinking about this wee boy I met in Lebanon a couple of years ago. I still have the drawing of an elephant he coloured in for me and every time I look at it I wonder where he is now, and how he’s doing.
It’s mind boggling to me that last year more than 70 million people were forced to flee their homes. That’s one person every two seconds who has been denied a home. But they don’t need to be denied hope.
