Had an awesome time subbing in the booth this past Monday and debating that subject with my man Boog. When it comes to the postseason, are you all about the longball, or do you think constant contact, bunts and line drives are the best approach?

I loved this conversation.... it was like listening to a married couple (like u mentioned) slowly but maturely paint the picture but still cannot see eye to eye ? I'm 110% with you @arod your knowledge of the game inside/outside plus along all your accolades should outweigh most!!

I love Arod but this is funny coning from a guy who had a homerun mentality. He had great contact throughout his career, but loojing for the long ball in October doomed him. Maybe he does know what hes talking about

Use the 2015 World Series as an example. The Mets relied so much on the long-ball and the Royals played a contact game. Both can be successful, but you're right that the contact game wins a championship.

For me it’s all about the classic game. Small ball. Manufacture runs. I love the sluggers, don’t get me wrong. But I agree with Arod in this one especially come October

If you look at all the teams who typically lead the league in home runs year in and year out how many have actually won the World Series ?
