Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year.
I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years.
Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work.
I would always cut up my shapewear to make my own styles, and there have also been so many times I couldn’t find a shapeware color that blended with my skin tone so we needed a solution for all of this.
The third pic is the solution short.
I developed this style for all of those times I wanted to wear a dress or skirt with a slit and still needed the support.

My thing is with this is.. you’re trying to sell shape wear now, but are modeling it on yourself and slimmer models surrounding you.. we all know how good you look without it.. so why wouldn’t you put it on models with a little extra body in places we may not necessarily desire it to be?... modeling shapewear on already slim women doesn’t really show us the true ability and value of this product.. and when big women see products on women that look nothing like themselves, they’re less likely to buy.

補正下着と着物は相反するものだと言うのは知ってますか？着物を綺麗に着るのに適した体型はなで肩、寸胴と言われてます。寸胴と言うのは、パスタを茹でる鍋のことで、その鍋のようにウエストにくびれがないような体型を言います。日本のこけし人形は知ってますか？まさにあの人形のような体型です。着物や浴衣を着る時は、胸を強調しないようにブラジャーは着けず、ウエストが細い人にはタオルを巻いてボリュームを出してから着るのです。お尻もぺっちゃんこな方がいいと言われています。補正下着は全て逆ですよね？あなたは着物の見た目の美しさだけでその名前を付けたのでしょうが、中身は補正下着とはまるで逆。補正下着は洋服の中身である体を綺麗にするものですよね？名前というのは、意味も必要なのではないでしょうか？私の言葉が、言ってる意味が、あなたに届きますように。
