This weeks episode was amazing but it scared the shit out of me. This is Trumps America..... the fact that they went to DC and all the Handmaids there are made to be silent, forcibly, by having their mouths sewn/stapled shut..... and the fact that a giant cross had replaced the Washington Monument, and the head of President Lincoln had been removed at the Lincoln Memorial....!!!! Religion must never EVER be allowed to dictate the laws of our land...... Handmaids Tale is a glimpse of what truly could be a reality in the future if we do not stand together and fight for human rights and our freedom. This was definitely the most dark and intense episode of the entire series.... this one is going to haunt me for awhile..... kudos to the writers and actors...especially @elisabethmossofficial .... she NAILED that performance! I felt every “ blow “ she had to witness or deal with like a punch to the gut. WOW! Just wow!

You’re freaking amazing in this show. The reason people always say the book is better bc you’re inside the character’s head and you can read what they are thinking but in this case, you’re such a phenomenal actress that we can feel what your character is thinking, feeling and doing. Most actors/actresses can’t makes you feel what the character is feeling, but you have that gift/talent. Excellent job in this role. Absolutely amazing!

While I love this show--the many close-ups of June's face in every episode are becoming predictable and boring, as are Serena's betrayals. I fear the show is getting a little soap-opera-y. I really hope I'm wrong!
