karenhoefer You Giada are me favorite chef and my inspiration for so many wonderful events in my home. I have never commented on a post of yours, just enjoy reading and sharing your recipes with my BFF. But now I have to respond. My boyfriend/life partner Stu Millheiser started a foundation for ALS some 15 years ago, ALS Guardian Angels. Stu helps families and patients of ALS when other ALS originations do not. You would be heart broken and frustrated to read some of the stories. I hope you and your loyal fans take a moment to read some of the stories on his FB page and www. Alsguardianangels.com. tyedyememories My dad is suffering from ALS. He was diagnosed in August and it has taken an incredibly devastating downward turn since then. He can no longer do anything for himself, and the toll it has taken on my mother is also noticeable. ALS is terrible to those suffering, but also those who become unintended caretakers. Thank you, @giadadelaurentiis , for bringing more light to this.

watchoutworld My mom has had ALS for 11 years. It’s a horrible disease. I can’t enough as a caretaker to this fight for promoting a cure. We are just up the road from you if you want to meet a real ALS hero.
