jeijude Thank you so much, Converse for this "Renew Initiative". I've been a Converse-user for decades now and its so inspiring to know that your company is helping millions of individuals and groups in raising environmental awareness. I, for one, is working in a government agency here in the Philippines that promotes environmental protection and conservation. I do know that our world is currently facing plastic pollution and it is one problem that we need to address. So, thank you for this initiative, Converse. Together, let us raise people's awareness!

celluloidsorbet @laurainwaterland another example of seeing a problem as a solution. I was just saying to @jeffjohnson_beyondandback that we need to completely reverse our perception of trash. When everyone realizes that “waste” is actually a resource waiting to be tapped it will be a monumental paradigm shift that drastically reduces how much of this ends up in all the wrong places.

alex.isover.it Personally, I think it's a really awesome idea to use recycled plastic to help create material to create shoes. It's a step towards a healthier earth, and less plastic in the ocean. Tho, no guarantee I'd buy a pair, but that's just because I wear the same two pairs already nonstop and so until they straight up break I won't need to buy new pairs.

ella.elliottt Please please please put all your energy into going zero-waste. The planet so DESPERATELY needs it, and large greedy companies need other large companies to show them that this is what consumers will buy.
