I recently saw what @jaclynhill has gone thru with her own line and want to let her and other budding brand builders know they’re not alone! We spare you guys the boring details and heartbreaks of us creating products and being at the mercy of packaging companies and labs that all promise us sometimes more then they can deliver. It’s all start-up problems and the headaches are what helps us become better brands. But sh*t happens and you guys are amazing for being patient and understanding and going along the journey of product development with us! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

beautify11jackie Everyone makes mistakes is how you take charge when is brought up to your attention. In Hill case number one big error was attacking a customer in her twitter account—-Customer bought her product and was the first to bring to her attention the issue of the lipstick in a professional matter giving Hill the opportunity to address it before the issue exploded. Hill action in how she handle that matter gave an open door to others not to trust her or her product unfortunately.

follow4followboost8762 i appreciate you sticking up for another woman entrepreneur. i think the key difference is, jaclyn’s actual product is what seems to be defective, and is actually making people sick/giving them upsetting side affects, and there are reports she may have known it was old or “less than ideal”. the issue with your dry shampoo seems to be the packaging, not the actual product. your product isn’t physically hurting anyone, which is why one is more understandable than the other.

It's the fact that customers found metal and hair inside the lipsticks and it took her ages to respond! Yes s **t happens especially for a new company but it's how the company and its CEO responds to these issues. I don't agree on people attacking or worse bullying her personally but she is a brand owner now and has to realise she's not just a youtuber anymore.

cj.goodrich The fact you’re brushing her CONTAMINATION in her lipsticks like it’s comparable to a simple fluke in packaging is absolutely disgusting to me. Is anybody hurt from packaging being faulty? Most likely not physically, maybe emotionally, but with a contaminated lipstick people have reported getting sick and having their lips get cut from METAL found in their lipstick(s). I used to respect you and your brand but now I can’t after this.

bdconley @jenatkinhair I spray 99% alcohol a few times a week on set or run a little warm water under the clogged nozzles on your dry shampoo and dry shampoo foam...works magic✨

mroadknight @mkkwebb I find with the dry shampoos I’ve used I can’t just brush it out it always leave a white/grey residue. So rub in! Hopefully it helps! :)
