danniellex.raiden @kevinlove how apropos please read this article tell the state government to put their money where their mouth is... the importance of mental health has to be more than just an empty slogan..if you are in aspen then you have the ability to use your visibility for good. The state of Colorado is closing down a walk-in clinic that serves people with mental health issues and is telling people from several different counties specifically grand junction and aspen residents etc..to drive all the way to Fort Collins to get services or go to the hospital (this is a six hour drive) and this clinic is comprised of compassionate people, unlike most professionals at hospitals who have very little tolerance or understanding for people with mental illness. If you are interested in being outspoken about mental illness then you should look into the inhumane treatment that comes with the phenomenon called the M1 hold. The people at Mind Springs will be losing their jobs on Sunday night. If you are interested in more than just good publicity you will do something with your voice to promote real change. If not, you are just a privileged white man touting self disclosure of your own mental illness for your own personal gain. I hope for the sake of your fans the former is true.
