This story is not getting enough press. Rather than voting on a climate change bill, Oregon’s Republican senators have chosen instead to go into hiding. I’m not kidding. This is really happening right now. Nobody knows where they are. Is this how we govern now? The GOP in its current form has to go. GOP leaders should not be allowing this.

therealryanlongden Their entire platform is obey their donors( so do corporate Democrats) and sabotage the government from functioning. Then turn around and tell the American people "see government doesn't work". They are cowards and they must be voted out of every level of government.

beardobeans @cnnr.buchanan since US pulled out the paris accord we have dropped emissions by 12%. Democrats in US just pandering to fears and conspiracies to get votes and to tax us to death. Cali and NY shit on their land and everyone has to change the way they live? Nah...

cnnr.buchanan @beardobeans if you understood any science at all you'd get that it's nonlinear and difficult to make exact predictions about but it compounds so whether it's ten years or fifty years the increases in temperature will happen and they'll be irreversible

rukus_rubino @beardobeans i get the Oregon thing will raise some gas prices and that deal may not be good but you cant straight up deny global warming based on that. Again, look at the PPM. Its clear. No politics involved when measuring the amount of something.
