Photos like these taken at Loji Beach in West Java, Indonesia are always hard to see, especially at beaches, but this is the devastating reality of where plastic ends up. It's time for all of us to take action and do our part to help reduce plastic pollution. We can all make a positive impact by looking closer to home and educating those around us about things like the fact that our sunscreens, surfwax, are super harmful to our seas, it’s the things we cannot see like nano plastics, the chemicals, that are worse then images like this yet know one talks about it. Start local. @wsl @take3forthesea @patagoniaaus

Who's plastic is it? Maybe start with that, find it by researching the dates and manufacturers on the rubbish...put pressure on those countries, use your insta page to post videos of protests and things, right petitions and they will be signed to enable this kind of pressure...one planet one people one love

Interesting comments, I've been too many parts of China and found it to be extremely clean. Also surfed many parts of West Java and the pictures are real! Don't see the rubbish drifting to far from the culprits.

Honestly.... I love the ocean, but when you travel to Bali and see how the locals just drop there rubbish it makes me wonder where the real focus needs to be placed.

People are really disgusting. A lot of the people in Third world countries have zero compassion for the earth. Their lives are tough as it is
