You're awesome dude, hey if a person cannot play by ear right now, should they go on and study music even if they never plan on being a professional or sessions player? And will study music for just a regular person be good even if they can't play by ear right now? Or how should a person go about doing all this? I don't plan on being a professional for a sessions player at all just around my area garage bands basement bands and I just normal regular stuff ever so often, really nothing special just a regular person want to have fun playing the bass so that just what I was wanting to know okay thank you so much.

Thanks for the lesson in tuning in your bass. I very rarely even mess with intonation, and other adjustments because of fear of not getting it right or just messing up. My brother is a great player always taught me to stretch the strings by pulling upward from the fretboard and pulling them sideways as well. I can also see the benefit of what you taught as well. The bass should stay in tune if the tuners, and everything else apply to it Is done correctly. Thanks again!

Thank you, Mr. Wooten.
We met in STT years ago when you performed at Barnacle Bill’s with Bela and your brother. At the time, I was the bass player in the house band. You continue to inspire me. Thank you for your words of encouragement. ??

I think this is the first time seeing Vic talk about this ( well atleast in my case and all the videos I watched of him) pretty cool to hear Vic talk about that! Thanks Master 🤗👍🎉

Sir @victorwooten thank you so much for this great tip. I’ve been playing my bass for years and wondering how to adjust those strings. Great help indeed. God bless you sir.
